Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities

Wage Payment: Employee rights include:- Spend for all incomes made (INFO # 3) at the rate consented to by the company and staff member.

– Pay of a minimum of minimum wage (INFO # 1), the applicable Colorado or local minimum wage, job and all made overtime salaries without impermissible reductions from their incomes;.

Statutes & Rules: DLSS imposes numerous of Colorado’s wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor guidelines, including the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (” COMPS Order”), and the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations

Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you incomes, you can send your company a composed demand for payment of salaries by mail, email, text, or other electronic means. A written demand may be sent to the company at the very same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for unpaid wages is filed with the Division. Employer Responses in Investigations: job Once a complete Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and examined, a letter explaining the nature of the complaint and the amounts alleged to be owed is sent out to the employer. If you wish to file a private claim for job unpaid incomes, you need to fill out a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage. To appeal a direct investigation citation or one or more Notices of Assessment, an alleged company might submit a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
